535,933 candidates from 11,139 centers sat for the examination. Of these 446,928 (83.4%) were Universal Primary Education (UPE) beneficiaries. Only 89,005 (16.6%) of the candidates were on-UPE. Science and English were the best performed subjects. Mathematics and Social Studies followed in that order.
